Over the past several years, Natassia began to slowly change her diet to a strict vegan/plant-based practice. But her idea of the lifestyle hasn’t always been positive. Veganism had always seemed a bit extreme, rigid and exclusive to her. After dealing with a bout of autoimmune issues, a friend of hers casually mentioned the book “The China Study” written by Dr. T. Colin Campbell. It was the most enlightening and impressive look into the world of plant-based living and thorough insight into the reasons of why this lifestyle is a great choice for anyone. And with that, her journey began, focusing on eating and living healthfully.
With this amazing lifestyle change, Natassia has found that some of her friends and family’s perspective of the diet isn’t quite the same, describing it as “prohibitive” and “complicated”, almost mimicking what was once her viewpoint. That is what ultimately sparked her interest in pursuing a certification in plant-based nutrition and the idea of creating a fun, upbeat website; shedding light on the positives of this style of living, focusing solely on the favorable.
